Brief introduction


 ** Directorate of Sports is a government department under the Ministry of Youth and Sports. Last 7/9/1976 of the Ministry of Education of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh

(Department of Culture and Sports) Office Memorandum No-4-E5/76/662-Sankri- Department of Sports was created. District Sports Office Nilphamari under the Department of Sports, which implements the plans of the Department of Sports in Nilphamari district.



Creation History;

* Strengthening the sports movement in the youth community including school and college students of the country and organizing various activities and tournaments in this regard.


Creation of opportunities for extensive practice of sports as well as extensive expansion of sports across the country, adopting, implementing and improving programs

The government created the District Sports Office under the Department of Sports with the aim of rapidly expanding the sports activities to the grassroots by practicing sports on a large scale.


 * District Sports Office Nilphamari under Directorate of Sports has no building of its own. It is located at Captain Basar Road (Opposite RAB Office) Sabuj Para, Nilphamari.
